03 - WHAT DO YOU WANT?
EXERCISE #1-of-3
What is it that you ---WANT--- more than anything else life has to offer?
(JV's Script) The biggest roadblock for most people who want to build a better life is, they have no idea exactly what it is they want to do with their lives. No 'North Star. No compass. No real direction in life. Should you choose to complete this exercise, that will no longer be your problem. This and other exercises are not optional. The purpose of the first exercise is to identify, with crystal clarity, your most magnificent obsession in life, your single, biggest, most bodacious goal.
There is no time limit on the successful completion of this critically important exercise. The total objective is to get it right the first time.
This series of activities is based on the study of thousands of incredibly successful men and women, since the beginning of recorded history. To be a living example of an incredibly successful person, you have to program yourself to think like they think and be doing what they have done. These are the two biggest things that caused their level of outstanding success.
Unless you intend to stay focused on the completion of this simple task, it will be a waste of your most valuable asset, your limited supply of time. For those of you who choose to complete this exercise, it be be the beginning of a major upgrade in your thinking and your better future.
To begin... Part one...
Take out several sheets of blank paper. With pen in hand begin writing down anything and everything you can think of you want in life. Allow your imagination to run wild. Don't pre-judge any possibility. There are no limits to the things you add to your list. The only qualification is, if you want it, write it down. It may take you several days or even several weeks to write down all the things you want. There will come a time when there is nothing you can think of that isn't already on the list. This list represents your written goals in life. You are literally 50 times more likely to have all these things simply because you wrote your goals down. Congratulations!
